SHUUDER PRODUCTION

Shuuder Production was founded in 2013 by producer and writer Shuudertsetseg Baatarsuren. It’s first film production “Warrior princess” received Best Investment Awards from Mongolian National Film Awards in 2014 and it’s leading role “Red Coat” won Best Male Actor Award. Shuuder production also made a documentary film about Galdan Boshigt and in 2018 participated in another documentary project Khand Van. It usually produces historical action films.

The Princess Khutulun project started in 2016 and ended in 2021. The film premiere in Mongolia took place in December 2021 and was nominated as one of the 5 best films with the most audience. The film was based on the bestseller of the same name by author Shuudertsetseg Baatarsuren. The novel was published in 2018 and has been a bestseller for 2 years. Jerusalem professor and Asian historian Micheal Biran used the book's cover to her research on Princess Khutulun. There is also a sequel to the novel called Khutulun “The legend of the Hills”. Sas Pictures Studio bought the rights to Shuudertsetseg's book “The coral bracelet” in 2007 and the film was named the most viewed film of that year. Mongol Content has also filmed one of her novels “A world with cloud patterns”.

The next project of Shuuder production is the Red serpent series, which also borrows the idea from one of her novels. It also plans a sequel to Princess Khutulun, an action film, Khutulun raids Kharkhorum.
